About Us

The Housing Coalition was established in 1981 to improve housing opportunities for the residents of Middlesex County. Based in New Brunswick, the Coalition initially offered housing rights counseling and housing location assistance. Over the years, the agency's programs and service area have changed, but its mission remains essentially the same: Assist low and moderate-income residents in maintaining or improving their housing opportunities.

The Coalition is HUD-certified and FNMA-approved. All of the agency's services are offered in English and Spanish. Interpreters for other languages are arranged as needed.

The Coalition's services include individual counseling, information and referral, and community education.
