First-Home Club

First-Home Club

The First Home Club assists households to save for the downpayment and closing costs on a first home. Participants, who must be enrolled for at least 10 months, save approximately $1,680 that is matched 3 to 1 up to $5,000 by the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York.

To participate, households must:

Meet income-eligibility guidelines
Have good credit
Agree to save at least $70.00 per month
Attend three workshops and at least one individual counseling session
